Getting desperate...

Whilst out walking in the rain yesterday I noticed an American Idia (see photo) clamped to a tree trunk. Not very interesting but getting a little late for such beasts. No news on the reported Band-tailed Gull as of yet. Am awaiting comment from Mr Gull on this little workshop. Would you like to see more of this sort of thing? This morning I heard a few Golden-crowned Kinglets and the odd chickadee on the way to the school yard.

Are these moths good to eat?
really ctr, get a carrot and take a chomp
love the picture..the moth looks very peaceful...was this taken in the early morning?
Yes BB it was resting peacefully and dreaming of bright lights and moth traps! I like to have a little chat with my moths before taking their photo...you know, put them at ease and all that. And you know what...I think it was indeed early in the morning when this one posed so well...
Am somewhat disturbed that there is a carrot-like rabbit out there that is thinking of scoffing my moffs.
And, Mr. Gull - where are you...it seems that Ms. Dong is missing you...
ctr makes me nervous..i don't like him/her
Moths are not good to eat, unless lightly grilled by a mercury vapour light...
Tell us more about the odd chickade, was it a funny color or something? May it was a Boreal type
you boys are so dumb...get a life..me i prefer to enjoy moth man's pictures all by myself...read into what you will
do mean to say you enjoy a picture of moth man by himself, instead of pictures of the beautiful moth's and birds?
Mother says...what's all this about lightly grilled moths? No mention of this in MY cookbooks...what is gulp going on about???
Gosh, lucky I didn't put said photo of me, the moth man, on this blog. Who knows what might have happened...
Also, me thinks gulp knows more than is letting on re. the process of catching moths and the equipment used...hmmm. very interesting...
